Regents Park.

Hanging out in Regents park with ciders. Another warm sunny day in London. Must admit, I was pretty lucky with the weather. I rode a bike on the road and did not die! Lucky! It's normal not to die when you ride a bike, I know. But for me who hadn't ridden a bike since high school, I'm pretty pleased with myself I didn't get hit by a parked car or run over a small child. It was totally fun! I was promised Roses in the rose garden, but only saw buds... that was a tiny bit disappointing since that all had such intriguing names... ice-cream? But then I saw other cute things like squirrels. And then we went and got Chinese food, Sichuan at Chilli Cool in St. Pancras.

Paris. Eat & Dance.

I want one now!

Favela Chic

Our 1st night in Paris after dinner we walked around trnya find a good party, happened to stumble upon this Brazilian club Favela Chic. As we stepped into the club, the dj was playing Ni**@s in Paris! That was epic. If you're in Paris this place is pretty fun, jam packed with grooving bodies people dancing on chairs tables. They play hiphop, brazilian music and some commercial stuff, fun stuff to dance to. When the samba drums hit it's a workout session. We got a free drink with our entry ticket that night, the bar serves up a delicious Caipirnhas with a lot of zing... Ahhhh so strong! We danced til 5 in the morning.

Duck breast and mushroom risotto
Can't even remember what that fish was, all i know is it was delish! Served with sweet potato mash just perfect.

L'Estaminet

My favorite restaurant in my whole entire trip, hands down. Dunno if you like snails, you really should LOVE snails. Actually went back there twice in the short week I was in Paris. Beef tartar was amazing. Duck liver ravioli in duck liver and wine sauce AMAZING! We ordered two entrees and a main between the two of us and didn't even get through half the chips that came with the main. How exactly do French girls stay slim? Absolutely no idea at all, I think French people eat in small portions is a myth. What makes this the best place ever, not only food that's great. Ambiance.... the place is entirely Parisian shabby chic. Waitresses were steezy(yes that's the only word I can find to describe) helpful and really relaxed. The music they played was so good, I can't even explain. Everything just went so well together, non pretentious non touristy little eatery. There's definately some magic going on there.
Around the area on Rue Oberkampf, plenty of cool bars, live music venues, cafes and crepe/kebab joints. So we skipped dessert n got nutella crepes! Yum!

Le Pompon

Where Parisians hipsters get downing down to rap music! Simply the coolest people you've ever seen, having the coolest time in the coolest space. Apparently the place used to be an old synagog, so yes the interiors are rather Jewish(glam fabulous)? So many pretty people, cool girls and hot boys in bow-ties. Okay, the bartender there.... are all drop dead gorgeous! Seriously, I could stare at them all night(not that I actually did that.). They are, and I am very sure of this. They are angels fallen from above, banished from heaven for doing naughty things... if you know what I mean? Gabriel? I just wanted to rip all of their shirts off. Oh yeah, this place also has really good music things on all the time different dj's n stuff like that, if you like that kinda thing...

Everything's better covered in gold

People mountain people sea.
Chinatown.
Fav room by far. Room of Mirrors, Le Grand Trianon.
Cute.
Petit Trianon, Marie-Antoinette's English garden. (Never looked so dreamy in my life, photo taken by Kat)

Chateau de Versailles

Completely blown away by how beautiful, grand, excessive and gold everything was. A queen really needs a pony you know, if you lived at a place like this just to get from one end of the gardens to the other took us about 45min? Marie-Antoinette had some really cute furnishing textiles that I wouldn't mind having in my room really.

I'm wearing new vintage dress I bought at Absolute Vintage London with my Brick Lane road side acting gig moneys. See me in a North America VW commercial, maybe?
